Setting up the Slack integration

Collaboration has always been at the core of hiring with Reevolt and with our Slack integration, it is even easier to engage your entire team in the hiring process. The Slack integration provides you the ability to create a new job post via Slack to your organization’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) of choice, with real-time notification of progress and completion of said job post.

There are a couple of pre-requisites:

1. A Hire Power account: Create an account on app.reevolt.ai
2. An active ATS Connector on Reevolt: Quick and simple setup for several ATS that we support, with more on the way.

To enable the Slack Integration:

• Login to app.reevolt.ai
• Click on “Settings” > “Connectors”
• Click on the Slack Icon within the ATS Connector “card”, below is an example of one where the ATS is Greenhouse:

• When prompted, click on “Connect to Slack”

• Follow the on-screen instructions provided by Slack, and click “Allow” when prompted.

• Once you are “Connected”, click “Continue” and “Done”
• You are now ready to use the Slack Integration.

Creating an unbiased job description from Slack

Creating an unbiased job description from Slack is quite simple and easy and can be initiated from any channels on Slack. Notifications will be delivered to a private channel between the Reevolt bot and you.

• Summon the Reevolt Bot by typing "/hirepower" into the message box

• You will then be greeted with a pop-up box like below. Start typing within the “Select an existing job …”, it’s a type-ahead, so it’ll bring the most relevant existing jobs:

• Enter the rest of the fields, “Enter new job title” is required, but the requirement is optional.
• Click on “Create”, confirm on the next.
• Then, click “Close”

• As the integration progresses and eventually completes, it will notify you via Slack
